THE 1858 FIVE CENT BRICK RED TYPE I UNIQUE
BLOCK OF FOUR

Scott No.27 One of the great rarities of 1 9th century multiples, this unique block, originally in the Worthington Collection, was purchased by Arthur Hind in 1917. From there it made its way to Sinkler and then Weill. The top left stamp has a tiny thin which is meaningless in a block this rare! A rare opportunity to acquire this magnificent multiple, helping to elevate a collection to one of singular status. A must for the connoisseur of greatness! Philatelic Foundation Certificate

Net: $130,000
